MONTGOMERY, Ala. ----- The Auburn University at Montgomery department of athletics has announced a newly-developed partnership with the local restaurant Jason's Deli.

Beginning August 28, Jason's Deli will host a monthly Spirit Night on the final Wednesday of each month. The monthly promotion will be held from 5-8 p.m., on the designated Wednesday's, and will provide AUM with 15 percent of all receipts generated during the span. Unlike previous promotions, no coupon is required to participate. The Deli is located at 1520 East Boulevard in Montgomery.

"I am pleased to announce this partnership between Jason's Deli and AUM athletics," Director of Athletics Steve Crotz said. "We take pride in our customer service and our fans' experience at our events, qualities that I know Jason Snyder and his staff also strives to accomplish. We have enjoyed our partnership with Jason's Deli throughout recent years and are appreciative that they have agreed to add another piece to this sponsorship. We look forward to a continued relationship."

Jason's Deli was founded in 1976 by Joe Tortorice, Jr. The deli stands for three simple concepts: people, food and choice. Jason's believes in treating employees as family and backs it up by making remarkable investments in their people. They were also the first major restaurant to ban artificial trans fats in the U.S. and also the first to eliminate high fructose corn syrup. Jason's Deli is also all about choice; regardless if you seek a gluten-free menu, vegetarian sandwiches, healthy kids' meals or if you would like to invent your sandwich via our "build your own" selections.
