MOBILE, Ala. ------ Senior Michael Lee posted his second consecutive double-double, but the Auburn University at Montgomery men's basketball team could not overcome four Spring Hill players scoring in double figures, as it fell 73-58 Thursday at the Arthur Outlaw Recreation Center.

With the loss, the Warhawks fell to 5-19 on the season and 2-12 in Southern States Athletic Conference play. The Badgers improved to 11-10 on the year and 5-8 in league games.

Lee paced AUM with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while sophomore A.J. Ansley added 15 points and a team-high three steals.

For the game, the Warhawks converted just 30.4 percent of their shots from the floor, including just 3-of-17 from behind the arc. On the boards, AUM held a 39-37 advantage in total rebounds, with 15 coming on the offensive boards. The Warhawks also committed only 10 turnovers, a season low.

Spring Hill knocked down 44.6 percent of its shots, including 51.5 percent in the opening half. The Badgers used the hot-shooting half to establish a 46-28 halftime lead.

Jake Thelen led SHC and all players with 21 points, with Todd Martin adding 20. Alex Looney and Charles Gordon also scored in double figures.

AUM will return to action on Saturday, when it takes on Mobile at 4 p.m.
