MOBILE, Ala. ----- All five Auburn University at Montgomery starts scored in double figures, including a team-high 14 points by sophomore Marquez Brooks, but Mobile defeated the Warhawks, 69-64, Saturday in Southern States Athletic Conference play.

With the loss, AUM fell to 5-20 on the season and 2-13 in SSAC play. The Rams improved to 12-13 overall and 8-7 in league games.

Senior Michael Lee added 11 points in the game, while fellow senior Alex Hergott, sophomore A.J. Ansley and freshman Trey Geter each scored 10 points each.

For the game, the Warhawks converted 22-of-58 shots from the floor, including 4-of-13 from behind the arc. AUM also knocked down 16-of-20 free throw attempts.

The Rams shot 40.7 percent from the field for the game, despite hitting just 4-of-21 3-point attempts.

On the glass, AUM held a 40-37 advantage in total rebounds, led by Lee's nine boards. Hergott added six rebounds, while Geter and Ansley pulled down five apiece. Ansley also tallied a team-best five assists and Lee chipped in three steals.

Mobile was led by Ji Kimbrough with a game-high 17 points, to lead three Rams in double figures.

The Warhawks will return to action on Thursday, Feb. 16, when they host William Carey at 7:30 p.m.
