BOCA RATON, Fla. ---- The No. 5 Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team dropped its third consecutive one-point match on Friday, as it fell to NCAA Division II No. 5 Lynn, 5-4, at the Perper Tennis Center.

With the loss, the Warhawks dropped to 7-6 on the season, while the Fighting Knights improved to 12-1 overall.

The Warhawks dug an early hole, taking just one match in doubles play, when Nicolas Pinones-Haltenhoff and Zinelabidine Jouini defeated George Laffey and Amaury Van Haelen, 8-6, at the No. 2 position.

In singles, AUM earned three points from victories by Pinones-Haltenhoff at the No. 1 position, Jouini at the No. 5 spot, and a three-set, 6-3, 4-6, 6-0, win by Josh Reason at the No. 3 position.

The Warhawks will look to bounce back on Wednesday, March 21, when they travel to Cleveland, Tenn., to take on SSAC foe Lee at 1 p.m.
