Jade Curtis was selected the NAIA Women's Tennis Player of the Week Wednesday.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. ---- Auburn University at Montgomery sophomore Jade Curtis has been selected the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference and national office announced Wednesday.
Curtis has helped the Warhawks to a 13-1 record on the season, including victories over eight ranked teams within the NAIA and NCAA Division's II and III.
During the past week, Curtis helped AUM to a 2-1 record by recording a perfect 3-0 record in singles and doubles play. The Saltash, England, native earned straight-set victories in each singles match, while also picking up three doubles wins, including an 8-2 victory over Sabine Krause and Ioana Ivan, the No. 4 duo in NCAA Division II.
On the season, Curtis sports a flawless 14-0 record in singles play, having played entirely at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. In doubles, she is also undefeated, having teamed with Ana Veselinovic for a 14-0 record. The tandem is currently the second ranked doubles team in the NAIA according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
Curtis and the Warhawks will return to action on Saturday, March 24, when they travel to New Orleans to take on Xavier. First serve is slated for 4 p.m.
