WAYCROSS, Ga. ----- Auburn University at Montgomery sophomore Zinelabidine Jouini has been selected the Southern States Athletic Conference's Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference office announced today.

Jouini, who hails from Tunis, Tunisia, enjoyed a perfect week for the Warhawks, winning all three singles and doubles matches against a trio of NCAA Division II top-25 teams in Rollins, Florida Southern and Lynn. He won all three of his singles matches at the No. 5 spot in straight sets and teamed with Nicolas Pinones-Haltenhoff for a flawless doubles record at the No. 2 position.

On the season, Jouini sports a 12-2 singles record, including a 12-1 mark at the No. 5 position. In his last 10 matches, he has recorded a 9-1 record and is 1-0 on the year against nationally-ranked singles players. He has also enjoyed a strong doubles season, as he is tied for the team lead with an 11-3 record.

Jouini and the No. 5 Warhawks (8-6) will return to action on Saturday, March 24, when they travel to New Orleans to take on Xavier. First serve is slated for 4 p.m.
