MONTGOMERY, Ala. ----- The Auburn University at Montgomery women's basketball team will host the first-annual Warhawk Cup Golf Tournament on Friday, May 4, at Tallapoosa Lakes Golf Course.

"We are excited about hosting the first-annual Warhawk Cup," head coach Dan Davis said. "This is an exciting opportunity to come out and enjoy a great day of golf and fellowship, while helping support the women's basketball team. This also gives our team a chance to interact with our supporters, something they are not able to do as much during the season. We hope the AUM and Montgomery community will embrace this opportunity to show their support of our program."

The format for the tournament is a four-person jailhouse scramble and at least four drives from each team member must be used.

Four-member teams for the event cost just $400, while individuals may play for the cost of $125. Included in the cost are green and cart fees, range balls, lunch, goody bags and/or door prizes. Prizes will also be awarded for the longest drive and closest to the pin.

Registration for the Warhawk Cup will be held from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m., with a shotgun start beginning at noon. Mulligans will also be available for purchase during registration.

In addition, hole and cart sponsorships are available for the event for $150.
