Morgane Zowczak was selected the Southern States Athletic Conference Player of the Week on Monday.

NORCROSS, Ga. ---- Auburn University at Montgomery junior standout Morgane Zowczak has been voted the Southern States Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Zowczak enjoyed her best week of the season, finishing 2-0 in both singles and doubles play, as the top-ranked Warhawks defeated No. 12 Lindsey Wilson and No. 7 Brenau.
The Yutz, France, native, opened the week with a 6-1, 6-1, victory over No. 42 Diana Gerlakh of LWC at the No. 2 singles position, and teamed with Kveta Hajkova for an 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles. She also earned a straight-set win against Maria Perdomo Medina of Brenau at the No. 2 singles spot, 7-5, 6-3, and an 8-3 win at the No. 2 doubles position.
On the season, Zowczak sports a 7-2 singles record, playing at positions 2-5. She has also recorded a doubles record of 6-3, playing primarily with Hajkova.
Zowczak and the Warhawks will return to action on Saturday, April 14, when they host Shorter University at 1 p.m.
