NORCROSS, Ga. --- Auburn University at Montgomery two-time All-American Ana Veselinovic has been selected the Southern States Athletic Conference's Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Veselinovic, who is from Herceg-Novi, Montenegro, enjoyed a 2-0 record in singles and doubles play, playing at the top position in each. For the week, she helped the Warhawks to a 2-0 record against a pair of ranked opponents.

She opened the week with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over No. 22 Candice Laurent of Shorter, while teaming with Jade Curtis for an 8-5 doubles win. She followed with a 6-0, 6-2 win against Carola Orna of No. 9 William Carey, while again teaming with Curtis for a doubles point.

On the season, Veselinovic sports a 19-2 record in singles play, including an 18-2 mark at the top spot. She has also enjoyed an undefeated doubles record, as she has won all 21 matches she has participated in.

Veselinovic and the Warhawks will return to action on Friday, April 20, when they participate in the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament, played at Lagoon Park. AUM will take on the winner of Thursday's match between Mobile and Emmanuel at 11:30 a.m. Friday morning.
