The AUM Cheerleading program announced its 2012-13 squad on Monday.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. ----- Following a two-day clinic, the Auburn University at Montgomery cheerleading program and head coach Joel Hughes has announced its 12-member squad for the 2012-13 school year.
The 12 new members hail from three different states and include two seniors, three juniors, two sophomores and five incoming freshman.
"We are very excited about these 12 young ladies being selected for our 2012-13 squad," Hughes said. "I think that our team from last season really laid the foundation for a successful program and with the addition of four new girls, we will now be able to participate competitively. These young ladies are all enthusiastic and will do a great job of promoting spirit on campus."
The 2012-13 squad members are: Janelle Shines (Sr., Montgomery, Ala.), Kayla Mason (Sr., Benton, Ala.), Whitley Robinson (Jr., Montgomery, Ala.), Britney Duffee (Jr., Gadsden, Ala.), Abreia Bulger (Jr., Verbena, Ala.), Cleyonia Toliver (So., Monroeville, Ala.), Crystal Williams (So., Columbus, Ga.), Ashley Little (So., Sand Rock, Ala.), Bethany Sewell (Fr., Abbeville, Ala.), Allie Bush (Fr., Marbury, Ala.), Shanisty White (Fr., Eufaula, Ala.) and Jenai Stills (Fr., Katy, Texas).
Tryouts were held April 27-29, where the participants worked on cheers, chants, dances, stunting, jumping and tumbling. The weekend was capped by tryouts on Sunday, April 29 in the AUM Physical Education Complex.
