MOBILE, Ala. ------ The top-ranked Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis team cruised past No. 4 Oklahoma Christian, 5-1, Friday in the semifinals of the NAIA Women's Tennis National Championships, held at the Mobile Tennis Center.

With the win, the Warhawks (25-2) will play for their second consecutive national championship tomorrow, where they will face No. 3 Embry-Riddle at 10 a.m.

"It's a great honor to be a part of a great team," Warhawk head coach Rolando Vargas said. "To be again in the finals is a great accomplishment already. Hopefully we keep playing the way we played today and have a shot to win the tournament tomorrow."

AUM captured two of the three doubles matches, winning easily at both the No. 1 and No. 3 positions. Ana Veselinovic and Jade Curtis cruised at the top spot, 8-2, while Morgane Zowczak and Kveta Hajkova remained perfect in tournament doubles play with an 8-1 win.

The Warhawks continued their dominance with three straight-set singles victories, with Veselinovic and Curtis winning at the top two positions, and Zowczak earning a victory at the No. 4 spot.

AUM will play for its 12th National Championship in school history on Saturday. The Eagles' season ends with an 18-4 record.
