MOBILE, Ala. ---- The Auburn Montgomery women's soccer team ended its four game losing streak, but still could not generate a goal in a 0-0 tie against Spring Hill.

The game finished scoreless despite AUM holding a 31-5 advantage in shots. In shots on goal, the Warhawks led 13-2, and they also had two shots go off the goalpost.

AUM is now 9-4-2, 4-4-1 in the Southern States Athletic Conference. Spring Hill moves to 5-9-1 (2-6-1).

Dagmar Gunnarsdottir almost put the Warhawks in front with the first shot of the game, but her third minute effort went off the post. AUM outshot the Badgers 10-2 in the first half, and 12-0 in the second.

The Warhawks generated an additional nine shots in the two overtime periods, and Margret Albertsdottir became the second player to hit a shot off the post, but Badger goalie Abby Massengale kept AUM off the scoreboard. Massengale finished with 12 saves in the match.

Albertsdottir led AUM with seven shots, while Eyrun Rakel Agnarsdottir and Maria Ros Arngrimsdottir each added six.

Sophomore goalie Holly Clarke made two saves to pick up her second individual shutout of the season. Clarke has also been a part of four team shutouts.

AUM will look to end its five-game goal drought on Wednesday with a 1 p.m. home match against Belhaven.
